An Intro to Kabbalah:
Decoding the Zohar
5 Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. ET
June 10 - July 8
All classes will be recorded and sent to registrants.
Curious about Kabbalah but don't know where to start? You've come to the right place.
There are many ways into learning about Jewish mysticism, but some of the most extraordinary and influential are found in the Zohar — a corpus of kabbalistic commentary and theological thinking that dates back to the late 13th and early 14th centuries.
Reading it on your own can be difficult, but with the right guide, the Zohar invites those willing to explore it into a fantastical universe filled with spiritual contemplation and insight.
My Jewish Learning is proud to announce this new course taught by leading Zohar scholar Eitan Fishbane, a distinguished professor of Jewish thought based at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
Over the course of five online sessions, which are recorded for further viewing, you'll learn about the basic history and mystical concepts that make up Kabbalah, through the lens of the Zohar — all decoded for beginners by our partner scholar.
Join us this spring and start your journey toward kabbalistic enlightenment!
