Will the Real 10 Commandments Please Stand Up?
Fresh Ways to Understand the Biblical Covenant
with Rabbi Barbara Symons
4 Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. ET
April 23 - May 14
All classes will be recorded and sent to registrants.
From houses of worship to court houses to our own houses, the 10 Commandments still loom large.
But just what do the 10 Commandments tell us, exactly? How do the two versions within the Hebrew Bible differ? What about all of the varying translations and interpretations — and Christian versions? And if they all differ, how are we to follow them within Jewish practice, or when they are brought across the church-state divide into the secular world?
Join My Jewish Learning and experienced educator Rabbi Barbara Symons for a fresh dissection of the building blocks of the Jewish moral code.
Your class purchase comes with four classes of live online instruction, recordings of each class that won’t expire — and a new understanding of the 10 Commandments.
