Low Sugar Jewish Cooking

From Babka to Tzimmes

4 Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET, Jan. 6 - 27

All Zoom sessions recorded and sent to registrants

Many of your favorite Jewish staples are full of sugar — but they don't have to be!

Chef Micah Siva — who specializes in delicious Jewish cuisine that's good for you — is back with a new online Nosher class to make your winter feel a lot healthier.

Over the course of four sessions, Micah will guide you through making babka, rugelach, challah and many more favorites that taste amazing — but contain much less sugar.

Along the way, she will also teach about:
  • The role of sugar in baking and cooking
  • The dangers of having too much sugar in your diet
  • The best tasting (and best for your body) sugar substitutes
  • Glucose and the glycemic index
  • And much more!

You'll leave class with new recipes and a sense of confidence in how to reduce sugar in your kitchen throughout the year.

You'll get to keep the recordings of each live cooking class and sugar lesson, along with all of the recipes that Micah uses.

So pull up a chair, and let's make 2026 our healthiest year yet!
