Biblical Hebrew Level 2

April 24 - May 29
All classes will be recorded and sent to registrants.
Want to truly understand those Jewish prayers and other religious texts that you’re reading in translation? Then you need to study Biblical Hebrew!
Biblical Hebrew differs from modern Hebrew, which is spoken in contemporary Israel, in small but important ways.
This six-week course picks up where our intro course left off and will teach more verbs, along with their past tense conjugations; personal pronouns; new vocabulary; words used to talk about Jewish and Israeli holidays; and more — all with the aim of leaving you with the ability to start reading and understanding simple Hebrew sentences in the Bible.
If you want to go on to learn modern Hebrew, you will also have learned the perfect foundation.
Students should know the Hebrew alphabet and a basic understanding of Hebrew verb and sentence structure at the start of this course. If you have questions about whether or not this course is the right fit for your knowledge level, email [email protected].
Your purchase gets you:
