In this level of Biblical Hebrew class, discover the inner elegance of Hebrew grammar and become your own translator!
We will focus on Biblical Hebrew vocabulary, using examples drawn from the Bible, fairy tales rendered in Biblical Hebrew, and texts related to the Jewish holidays.
Students should be familiar with Hebrew verbs in the past and future tenses. This course will begin with Chapter 13 of The First Hebrew Primer.

Natasha Shabat is an independent scholar who has been teaching Biblical and Modern Hebrew to adults since 1997, in congregations, community centers and private homes. Her students include rabbis and rabbinical students, cantors, lay leaders, Hebrew school teachers, Hebrew school dropouts and Jews by choice. She is a graduate of Harvard University in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations.
